Grandpa Liggett

I lost my Grandpa Liggett last week and it was a very sad time for my family. My twin sister and I used to stay weekends with my grandparents when were little girls. My Grandpa would take us to the grocery store and let us pick out whatever cereal we wanted and all kinds of junk food. He also used to try and teach us how to swing a golf club, baseball bat and he took us to the zoo and to feed the ducks. I have several good memories of my grandpa when I was a little girl and I'm blessed to have known my grandfather.

The picture below is very special to me because it is from my wedding day. My grandparents surprised me by showing up. My grandfather was very ill at the time and they didn't know if he would be able to travel, but they made it and it made my day even more special. Grandpa, thanks for the memories you will be missed and we all love you very much.

I love this picture, I remember that night so well. Grandpa and grandma had so much fun. Grandpa kept smiling with joy and looked as if he was having such a good time. I will always cherish the memories I had with grandpa, and just the other night I went to the store to buy the honey combs that I loved eating as a child especially at grandpa/grandma's house. You will be missed grandpa!!!
Love you
