Santa Claus is coming to town...Rose Photography

I'm excited to announce that Santa will be stopping by Rose Photography on Sunday, December 7th. Santa is very busy this time of year, so he will be at my house for special holiday pictures from 10:00 to 3:00, by appointment only. Please e-mail me at kristie@rosephotographykc.com to set up your appointment.

Due to the rising cost of everything these days I have decided to sell you your digital images for this event. Please bring $20.00 to your appointment and I will e-mail you your image as soon as it is ready. Once you have the digital image you will be able to make as many copies as you would like at any location you would like. Additional images will be available for viewing on my website and you can purchase for an additional $5.00.

Happy Birthday Kooper!!!!

My baby turns 6 today, or tomorrow it is almost midnight, and I want to wish him a Happy Birthday. My dogs are my kids and I love them very much!!!!!!! Kooper loves me unconditionally even if I come home from work to sit down at the computer and edit more pictures. He is very loyal and is ALWAYS waiting for me.

Happy Birthday to my WONDERFUL husband!

I have to say Happy Belated Birthday to my wonderful husband who supports me in everything I do. As I sit here at the computer at 11:13 p.m. and let the laundry pile up he continues to tell me to follow my dreams. When he is in the middle of doing something and I make him stop to come over and "please please please" look at a picture I have just edited he drops everything to support me.

We have been together 15 years this year and I love him more today than the first year I fell in love with him. I hope that everyone finds someone who will motivate them to follow their dreams the way Korey has motivated me. He is a wonderful husband. Happy Birthday Baby!!!!!! I Love You!!!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sophia!!!

Sophia is my twin sister, Angie's, little girl and she is AMAZING. She has brought much joy and laughter to our family and we can't believe she is already turning 2 years old. We had a blast on our day out at the park. While I was editing these pictures they brought tears to my eyes, she is truly beautiful and her smile is contagious. I love you very much Sophia and hope every year is filled with more joy than the one before. Love Aunt Istie

Have you ever met two people who couldn't take a bad picture? Well for me that is Amber and Nate. Their pictures turned out great and I'm guessing it is because they are both smokin hot. We had a lot of fun on our shoot and I think you can tell by the pictures.

Busy, Busy, Busy

For those of you who don't know photography is my 2nd career....I also have a full time job. Lately I have been busy with both, which is good, but I have gotten a little behind on blogging. Last week I had 7 shoots....CRAZY. Here are some of my favorites from some of those shoots.

I photograph so many girls, but we all know that boys don't really like having their pictures taken.....Well this week I got to photograph boys and they just like above they have more fun when they are playing and doing what they want to do. I had so much fun with these three brothers and they kept me on my toes. Meet Tanner, Tucker and Teagan.

Happy 5th Birthday Lily!

As I said in my post before I'm blessed with 6 nieces and 1 nephew and it just so happens that all of their Birthdays (with the exception of one) fall in June, July or August.

Ms. Lily turned 5 this year and will be starting school this year. Her Birthday party started with a little storm, but the clouds were beautiful and almost as blue as Lily's eyes, so I had to snap a picture.

Lily you are so very sweet and just make me want to give you hugs everytime I see you. I was lucky enough to witness your first breath and you will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. Love Aunt Kristie

Happy 21st Birthday Lindsey!!!

I have been blessed with 6 nieces and 1 nephew, which range in age from 2 to 22. I love being an aunt and know that if you asked any one of them who is their favortie Aunt they would say "Aunt Kristie" or maybe "Aunt Istie" =-)

One of my nieces turned 21 a couple weeks ago and so I went to her Birthday party and of course I had to buy her, her first shot. I had a blast with her and am happy that she is such a special part of my life. So Happy Birthday Lindz!!!! You partied like a rock star and made your Aunt Kristie proud.

Sara & Nick

It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon on the Independence square and it turned out to be a day full of PINK. Sara is an amazing person who I met through my sister and now she is my wonderful hair stylist. Nick, her husband, seems to be equally amazing. Together they make a wonderful couple.

You could feel the excitement in the church and the love that these two shared. Sara, Nick and their wedding party were a BLAST to photograph and I can only hope that every wedding party is as fun as these guys.

Sara was all about the details and they were unforgettable. I have so many pictures to edit that I thought it was only fair to put up a little teaser while I finish editing. Sara I promise I'm working on your pictures every evening to get them all posted ASAP =-).

I also have to say a special thank you to one of my very best friends, Amy, for being my second shooter. She did great and I can't wait until she shoots with me again.

Logyn 3 months

The last time I blogged it was about the birth of Ms. Logyn and she is already three months old. She came over and we took some of the cutest little pictures. She is so strong she is already holding her head up, which makes for the cutest pictures. What a beautiful little baby girl!!!!!

Todd & Cheryl

I have been so busy with my "real job" I haven't had a lot of time to shoot lately, which has also meant I haven't had a lot of time to blog. I really want to try and keep this up this summer so I'm going to start with Todd & Cheryl.

My brother is getting married in August to the AMAZING Cheryl (stay tuned for wedding pictures in August) and we went downtown to get a few shots for their invites. I went with a very creative photographer, Aaron, who also happens to be Cheryl's cousin. We had a wonderful time and got some really great shots.

As you can see there is a lot of love between the two of them
