Girls Night Out - Royals Game

Last night I had a BLAST with 22 girls at the Royals game. I thought I would post a few pics before I left for the day. All you parking lot dancers check back on Monday because there will be lots more pics posted from Girls Night Out.

We had so much fun in the parking lot after the game. We turned the radio up and were getting people to dance for us. These girls did the Bird for us. It was GREAT!

FINALLY I updated my blog

I have been terrible about blogging, but as you can see from all of my post today this has been a busy year. Korey, my wonderful and very supportive husband, had surgery in March and then I had surgery in April. Then as you can see my family kept us both busy. We had preschool graduations, 1st communions and a new beautiful addition to our family. Things really couldn't be better, but I fell behind.

If you haven't read this post for a while, please scroll all the way to the bottom and start at Easter Sunday. I also beg you to leave comments. That will encourage me to keep posting.

Dustin Cate Gant

On Sunday I had the honor of capturing very candid moments of my new cousin, Dustin Cate. We had a BLAST taking these pictures and this is really what shooting candids is all about. I went out to her house and we weren't rushed and had time to play around with all kinds of different lighting. I'm booking these sessions now..

Happy Birthday Karlie

Karlie is another one of my beautiful nieces, okay not really by blood, but her family is like my own family. Her Aunt is one of my very best friends and I love her whole family like they are my own. Karlie lives in IL, so I don't get to see her very often, but I was able to make this very cute invite for her first B-day party.



I love you Karlie and hope you had a wonderful Birthday.

Draveling family

Brian is an old friend from high school, and Kelly is a new friend I was lucky enough to meet through Brian. They now have a beautiful daughter, Adalynn who I met for the very first time the day of our shoot. What a beautiful family.

Bollinger Family

On a very, very, very bright, hot sunny day I went to Unity Village to take some family pictures for my friend. We had some fun taking pictures and were all worn out by the time we finished. When we got back to the car we realized someone had broke in our car and stole everything. It ended up being a terrible day, but at least we got some beautiful shots..right Fran?





Ava loved playing with the flowers....actually tearing the petals off the flowers was more like it, but hey whatever it takes to make them happy.

Sophia's 1st Birthday

As you can imagine I have taken many, many, many pictures of Sophia, so it is very hard to narrow down which ones I should post. We had a blast taking these and as you can see she LOVES cake.





This is at her 1st Birthday party with all her cousins, all of my nieces on the Rose side. Long day in the sun..can you tell?



Sophia also LOVED opening her presents and I think her cousin Laney really liked helping her.

Newest member of the Schnetzer family

In May, my twin sister, Angie and her husband, Jason were blessed with the newest addition to our family, Sophia. We had a wonderful shower for them in June.

Laney's Preschool Graduation

Laney is also one of my beautiful nieces. This year she graduated from preshool. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

Claire is my beautiful niece and Mitch is her handsome cousin, my nephew-in-law-law (Mitch can explain if you ever meet him). They had their first communion on Cinco de Mayo this year. We all went to the church and then back to Jim and Tandy's for a wonderful celebration.

My family loves having a photographer in the family, well everyone except the kids. They know when Aunt Kristie is at a party we will be taking of pictures.

We had a little college reunion at my friend Kaylen's house, and I got some great candid shots of her son Brody and my other friend Jodi's daughter, Abby.

Easter Sunday

So much happened this Easter...We went to see my family, then my husband's family, took a few pictures, came home, had a bloody mary before bed...ended up in the emergency room. My advise - Don't drink bloody mary's before bed or if you are having a gall bladder attack.
